Fine base for exploring Kirkcudbright. Incredibly beautiful place to stay while travelling around Kirkcudbright. A lot of goodies for breakfast. Ideal and marvellous location in Kirkcudbright, just off the Castle & nearby Greyfriars Church as well as surrounding area. A lot of food options not too far from the venue.

Well laid out and clean rooms, etc.
Good location - right by Kirkcudbright & surrounding area, and galleries. Units with great views.

The guest house was spotlessly clean, and the owners were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to accommodate breakfast preferences. The house had a beautiful garden that guests were welcome to use.- The guest house was ideally situated in the town, within walking distance of all the venues for the jazz festival.
In our room, we encountered a few issues such as difficulty accessing the internet, trouble tuning the TV, and loose fittings in the bathroom. The bathroom fittings could use updating.

Liked our 2 nights here. The hotel was situated in the central location right in the heart of town. What's more, it was adjacent to the Castle, the centre of Kirkcudbright and the garden.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B in the heart of town. The location was perfect, with plenty of free parking available right outside. The host, Malcolm, was delightful and took great care of us, serving up a delicious Scottish breakfast that kept us satisfied all day. The house itself was elegant and comfortable, with a relaxing drawing room and beautiful artwork throughout. We especially enjoyed the access to the river walk through the colorful secret garden. The B&B was also within walking distance of local attractions, such as Broughton House and the Castle. The breakfast conversations with fellow guests around the dining room table added a special touch to our stay. Despite the sad reason for our visit, the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere at Gladstone House provided a comforting and memorable experience. we highly recommend this hidden gem for a wonderful stay in Kirkcudbright.

I had a really lovely stay in a long time. There were comfortable beds and an electric kettle, central heating, and a TV set inside the room. The hotel was set in a central area not far from the Castle & nearby Greyfriars Church, the garden, and the centre of Kircudbright. Plus, it had convenient access to St Ninian's Cave.

Warm and friendly hosts, delicious homemade food, and a lovely garden to relax in. The hosts went the extra mile by offering flexible breakfast times and providing a wide choice of ingredients for a freshly cooked breakfast. The house was spotlessly clean and centrally located, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area.
The layout of the twin bedded room was slightly compromised, with a poorly situated table for the kettle and TV in the eaves of the sloping roof. The TV was not easily viewable and had muffled sound from the speaker.

The hotel needed updating.
